Thank you for your interest in learning more about me.
My name is Keith Oliver Avila Rull. I am a Christian software development professional who loves the Lord, my family and my career. I’m a Filipino living in Roseville, CA with my amazing wife, Charissa, and our equally awesome 4-year-old daughter, Zoe.
I have 11+ years of solid experience in building and managing enterprise applications with a large focus on software architecture, business intelligence, security and integrations. I have experience managing and leading teams who are in the same room as well as remote resources spanning into multiple geographic locations and time zones.
I have working experience using C#, VB/VB.NET, Java, and ASP.NET using best of breed frameworks and technologies on these programming languages. I have also built or architected solutions utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle and MySQL as their back-end database.
I am passionate about building solutions that make customers, users and business owners satisfied. I enjoy development particularly the process on conceptualizing a product and bringing an idea to fruition. I am a people person with a knack of reaching out to customers and end-users to figure out not only their immediate needs but also what they want to see down the road happen to their application or services after the first iteration. I always make sure that the application or service I build, design or lead fits and exceeds the expectations of all stakeholders.
I’m a firm believer that you should always under promise and over deliver and that you should never compromise quality regardless of pressure and timeline.
When not writing code or dreaming of software architecture, I spend time with my family traveling in different places. We enjoy the outdoors and taking pictures of places we’ve visited.
